The DIN 3352 series is the engineering backbone of European municipal water networks. Defined by the rigorous EN 1171 design standard, these resilient seated gate valves provide a robust solution for potable water, irrigation, and firefighting pipelines. The primary distinction lies in their face-to-face dimensions: the F4 pattern (EN 558 Series 14) offers a compact footprint for space-constrained valve pits, while the F5 pattern (EN 558 Series 15) provides the traditional length required for specific infrastructure retrofits and standardized replacement cycles.
Veyron Valve utilizes high-grade Ductile Iron (EN-GJS-500-7) for the pressure boundary, ensuring superior tensile strength compared to grey iron. The "Straight-Through" bore design is a critical feature; it eliminates the bottom cavity found in older designs, preventing the accumulation of sediment that typically leads to seat erosion. The wedge is precision-encapsulated in EPDM, ensuring a bubble-tight shut-off even at low differential pressures. By employing a multiple O-ring stem seal instead of traditional gland packing, we achieve a maintenance-free life cycle with significantly reduced operating torque.
