- Fire Protection Synergy: Our OS&Y models are widely utilized in fire sprinkler systems and are UL Listed and FM Approved. The visible stem provides a clear "open/closed" status, which is a mandatory safety requirement for many commercial fire suppression codes.
- The Operating Nut Advantage: For buried municipal lines, our NRS valves are equipped with a standard 2-inch square operating nut. - Potable Water Safety: The valve body is coated internally and externally with NSF 61 certified Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE). This ensures that the water quality remains uncontaminated by corrosion by-products, meeting the stringent "Lead-Free" requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
- Zero-Leakage Sealing: The wedge is fully encapsulated in premium SBR or EPDM rubber. Our vulcanization process ensures a permanent bond to the ductile iron core, providing a "bubble-tight" seal at low pressure while resisting the compression set that causes leaks in lower-grade alternatives.
