Veyron Valve’s Resilient Seated Gate Valve eliminates these issues through a "Zero-Leakage" design philosophy. By utilizing a fully encapsulated rubber wedge that compresses against the smooth, flat floor of the valve body, this valve achieves a bubble-tight shut-off every time. It is the definitive solution for municipal potable water, irrigation, and fire-main systems where absolute isolation is mandatory.
Wedge Integrity: The Vulcanization Advantage
The performance of a soft-seated valve is entirely dependent on the quality of its wedge.
- Precision Encapsulation: Our wedges feature a high-strength ductile iron core that is precision-vulcanized with a thick layer of EPDM or NBR. This bonding process ensures that the rubber will not peel or delaminate under high-velocity flow or pressure surges.
- Straight-Through Bore: Unlike old-style gate valves, our body interior is designed without a "well" or pocket at the bottom. The passage is completely unobstructed (Full-Bore), allowing the fluid to "scour" the seating area clean during operation. This prevents the buildup of debris that typically leads to seal failure in industrial networks.
